Florida Auburn Micah Handlogten Suffers Nasty Injury In Opening Minutes Of SEC Championship
Florida center Micah Handlogten broke his left leg in the opening minutes of the Southeastern Conference tournament last Sunday and was taken from the field on a stretcher to the hospital.

Coach Todd Golden, who knelt over his player as Handlogten lay on the court, said he felt bad for the young center in the Gators' 86-67 loss to No. 12 Auburn.
"You hate to see it because of him because he does everything right and works hard," said Golden, who struggled to contain his emotions after the game. "It's a very unfortunate injury, you know you don't see that often in this game. To make a big play like that, to go out like that, I just feel for him."
Golden also praised the medical staff at Florida, Auburn and the SEC for their quick response in treating Handlogten. Florida officials expected Handlogten to undergo surgery later Sunday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
