BLACKPINK headlined Coachella 2023 on Saturday night, ending the festival's second night on the Coachella stage. The band's performance was preceded by an extended sequence of aerial dubstep drones.

Blackpink made history at Coachella. The K-pop heavyweights - Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa and Rosé - performed a nearly two-hour set of their greatest hits as they wrapped up a jam-packed second night of Coachella on Saturday.

BLACKPINK is the first K-pop group to perform at Coachella in 2019 and the first K-pop headliner of the year. BLACKPINK released their second LP, Born Pink, in September.

The ladies turned out in style for their Saturday night headliner wearing black and bright pink as they performed in front of the huge temple.

The K-pop group - the first female Asian group to headline the festival - delivered on the promise of their powerful vocals, tight choreography and maximalist pop numbers.

The show actually started 30 minutes later than scheduled, but the fans didn't seem to mind the wait. A group of dancers begin a dramatic choreography, building hope for the girls.

Blackpink then emerged from behind a puff of smoke and immediately burst into a high-strung rendition of "Pink Poison", prompting screams and cheers from the crowd. They jumped into "Kill This Love" after that and then took some time to interact with the crowd, with each girl taking time to introduce themselves and thank the crowd.
