Security footage was originally obtained and aired by CNN. These images appear to show Los Angeles and Miami native 54-year-old music producer Comb's also known by the names Puff Daddy and P Daddy, only covering himself in a white towel. He chases and runs behind Cassie in a black suit after she leaves the room. Soon after catching her, he physically assaulted her in a hotel hallway some eight years ago, in 2016.
It is said that these videos are dated March 5, 2016, but CNN released them on Friday. The content and actions of Diddy look gruesome and hard to watch. Mental health professionals have hesitated to watch this video.
This video now confirms the predatory and disturbing behavior of Sean 'Diddy' Combs. There is no immediate response from the representatives of the music mogul.
The video looks similar to a description of a lawsuit filed by an R&B singer in November. In that lawsuit, she accused P. Daddy of lengthy sexual abuse and other kinds of physical violence. But both the parties settled this lawsuit with mutual consent out of court the next day it was filed.
In Cassie's lawsuit, she accused Comb of obtaining 'the hallway incident' footage from the hotel for $50,000.
Since Cassie's lawsuit, Comb's faced a number of other lawsuits in the following months. One of these cases included a federal criminal sex trafficking investigation that led to a raid on Comb's mansions in Miami and Los Angeles. On several occasions, Comb's has denied all these allegations and wrongdoings.
